My family used to take this opportunity to go to the beach, etc. My dad is a military officer, who is busy all the time, so when he's free --- we take advantage. After awhile, we couldn't be bothered anymore. We would stay out of the house for a few days but check in at Mandarin (which is still in Manila) for a pretend vacation.

For 2 years now, we've just spent holy weeks at home. I wonder what changes next year will bring, when Bon and I are married na. I bet, I'd be in Pampanga and he'd show me the nailing and beating (he always talks about that --- and like you, I've always been curious).

Anyway, Happy Easter Tisha!crickette insertohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17247913193803285078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298921340054881100.post-4739727176865788902011-04-25T19:56:02.623+08:002011-04-25T19:56:02.623+08:00When I was young, I used to join this procession c...When I was young, I used to join this procession called Salubong in our parish. But since I haven't gone home to CDO for Holy Week in a long time, I haven't done any church-related Holy Week or Easter activities. :SLeahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00357901324772717475noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298921340054881100.post-34015671357658610622011-04-25T10:23:27.018+08:002011-04-25T10:23:27.018+08:00"confess to someone who won't recognize y..."confess to someone who won't recognize your voice"--hahahahaha!

Happy Easter, Ric and Sam!:)Tishahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01443119535011851603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298921340054881100.post-57884446007607517942011-04-25T09:37:59.512+08:002011-04-25T09:37:59.512+08:00Happy Easter :)Happy Easter :)Samantha Sottohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14116257082088369600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298921340054881100.post-58513593790343373082011-04-24T13:40:13.569+08:002011-04-24T13:40:13.569+08:00PS - Never miss the Ten Commandments.PS - Never miss the Ten Commandments.Ricademushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12347446705678305814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7298921340054881100.post-35073081027549689792011-04-24T04:03:58.733+08:002011-04-24T04:03:58.733+08:00When I was born, my dad had the thought I would gr...When I was born, my dad had the thought I would grow up to be a priest. It's a long story. I wasn't supposed to live, but I made it anyway. I never considered it.

I grew up attending the church where the Catholic Church was establised in the US. We even had a Shrine (http://www.sacredheartbowie.org/history-shrine.php). Holy Week meant spending a lot of time there--we only went to other churches for confession. Great thinking on my parents' part--confess to someone who won't recognize your voice. LOL!

Happy Easter Tishie.Ricademushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12347446705678305814noreply@blogger.com
