Last week's trip #1 took me back to the isla for Boracay Open 2011. Right after my fun run and all my interviews, I did a quick change and boarded a plane! I had no intention of going, since I was missing the Saturday games and Saturday night party (usually the most fun). But two words: Seat sale! So about a week before the trip, I booked me a flight.
It was a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am trip: I flew in Sunday around noon, and flew out first thing Tuesday morning. As in previous years, this trip featured a finals match which included the Boracay Dragons (nine-time champions, if I'm not mistaken)...

ReplyDeleteSugar, I was lucky to get cheap tickets the week before I intended to leave. But airlines always have sales now so go!

I'm actually going back to the Philippines for a visit this June but we're only there for 2 weeks, leaving us with not much time to go to Boracay :( You know how it is when visiting Philippines... you have to visit all your family from each side! How much are the seat sales anyway? .... just in case. haha!
ReplyDeleteThat depends...you could get tickets dirt cheap if you book at the right time. Mine was about 3K round trip, a great deal considering some people paid double that for a one-way ticket.
