A Month and a Half in Westeros

Finally got through A Feast for Crows. It took me a month to read the first three books (about a thousand pages each), full-time job and disc and all, but it took me about two or three weeks just to finish the fourth book. It had quite a few characters that I didn't really care about, so it was hard to get through. But, extraneous characters and all, it still made me gasp, tear up, and pester my husband with plot points! Plus, I have a new favorite character. But no spoilers here.

Gearing up for this massive book, which Best Husband Ever surprised me with...

But before I get to that, I think I'll probably read another book that's been waiting in the wings for two months now.

My nightstand is a sight to behold.

  1. My Dear Husband has been "neglecting" me for the past month because he's having an "affair" with the Starks, the Lannisters, and all the others! Hehe... He's on the 3rd book now while I'm still on the 1st. I don't know how he manages to do that when he's the one who has a full time job! Haha

  2. I read it while I'm waiting in line, having breakfast or lunch, waiting for layouts late at night. I took the "In which GoT house do you belong?" test & I belong in House Targaryen! Fire and blood! Husband is in House Lannister. Haha

  3. I have yet to watch the first season. Parang ayoko pa masyadong sumali sa hype. Haha! Actually, I tried to watch episode 1 last night but I turned it off after just a few seconds into it. It seems so dark and dreary and emotional kasi. Di ko pa feel. Saka na. Haha. :P

  4. Ikaw nga pala si Miss Ayokong-Mag-Badminton-Because-Everyone-Else-Is-Doing-It. Haha. Yeah, it's a little heavy. But so engaging!

  5. Where did you take the test? I got so tensed watching the series! Haha.

Oh, so sweet of you to drop a line!:)
